Nokia E61i Camera Phones Proliferate


The biggest difference between the E61i and the E61 is the inclusion of a 2-megapixel digital camera, which was added Nokia say in response to customer demand. We are not certain that customers of Nokia which means, because the type of companies who are interested in a device such as the Nokia E61i generally hate to see camera phones proliferate.

The keyboard has been resolved and the E61i looks a bit tidier than the E61 overall. Apart from these cosmetic differences, the E61i software has also been slightly modified and updated.

There are two variants of the Arte Nokia 8800, the standard one and Sapphire Arte, which has a gem navigation key and soft leather finish. We kid you not. Ignoring the rather bonkers Sapphire edition, the Nokia 8800 Arte is a much improved over its predecessor device. This is a 3G phone with a 2-inch 240 x 320 pixel (QVGA) OLED display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and 1 GB of internal memory. Add Bluetooth and a media player, and the Arte 8800 is roughly the button to a 3G phone contemporary.

Motorola W510 Fairly Elegant Phone

In technical terms, the Motorola W510 is a close match for Motorola RAZR V3i, there is a 1.9 inch 176×220 pixel display, 1.3 megapixel, expandable memory microSD (2 GB maximum), quad-band GSM with GPRS and EDGE data, and a Bluetooth stereo player.

Of course, the RAZR V3i has been around for some time now and the price has fallen, but the W510 is twice around the autonomy which is a significant advantage. In our view, the world did not really need another style RAZR handset, but if you are in the market for this type of device, it appears to be a good option. Motorola say that the W510 will be available in some markets.

The Samsung F250 is a little curiosity, it seems expensive, but it is not really. And it also comes with an unusual combination of features means that it is not quite in a range of products.

The most obvious on the SGH-F250 is the looks bright. Slide is open, and there is a modern keyboard, and the presence of dedicated media buttons on the front to indicate that this is a multimedia device. In fact, Samsung F250 can read a variety of multimedia files, has an FM radio, microSD expandable memory and Bluetooth 2.0.

Sony Ericsson K770iThe Sony Ericsson K770i is a lightweight 3G phone, coming in at 95 grams and only 14.5 mm thick. There is a 3.2 megapixel with flash and autofocus, and a 1.9 “240×320 pixel screen.

Because it is a Cyber-branded phone, the K770i comes with more than just a camera. There is a built-in “set the picture” asked to help resolve these pictures that have not quite right out properly. Over the K770i a stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, Memory Stick Micro expandable memory (256MB included in the box), a media player, an email client, web browser and RSS reader. If you are familiar with previous Cyber-branded phones, then you will know what to expect.

The Nokia 6120 Classic is a way phone with hidden depths of the complete antithesis of the flashy but little Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold. It is hard to believe, though nothing to look device may well be the best phone that Nokia has ever done. Hold on to that thought for a while.Nokia say that the 6120 classic is expected to be available from the end of Q2 2007.
