   i bought this because of the other great reviews for using this to go running. These headphones worked for two days. then I went running, at the 3rd mile, it started making my songs skip and the buttons stopped working. If i unplug them from my ipod touch 2nd gen, the song plays fine. When i plug them back in, the song starts skipping. and forget using the buttons for anything.

   WARNING! These earphone’s volume controls do NOT work for the iPhone (1st Generation).

   Just as bad as the Apple earbuds that come with iPods, except they have a mic/button. They work fine as long as I use my hands to hold the earbud in my ear; if I didn’t they would either fall out, or I wouldn’t be able to hear anything. Crap like this makes me question Apple diehards.

   Although I purchased these earphones used for a little higher price than I would have liked, I trusted it would be a good product because it was Apple and I trusted the seller because of their positive feedback.

   However, I’ve only had the earphones for a few short wks and the plug part that goes into the iPod literally broke off inside it (uploaded picture here: [. . . ]). I have contacted the seller and if they take action to make things right, I will gladly change my review comment but as of right now I’m not happy and would not recommend buying from this seller. Clearly this product was faulty since it came apart in 3 pieces!

   Ordered the ‘real Apple product’ at $29. 00 althought there were quite a few less expensive choices. I used the earphones & mic a few times and noticed that my callers could not hear me, later realized that te entire right leg including microphone was dead. VERY CHEAP
