Motorola W375 Pink Basic Phone Clamshell

The Motorola W375 is the most advanced phone since they announced the ROKR E2 six months ago. But do not get too excited. The W375 is just a phone clamshell very basic which is a step up from the W220.

Inside the W375 is a TFT screen 128×160 pixels, and outside is a camera with VGA resolution 4X digital zoom. The W375 also has an FM radio and MP3 ringtones possesses, but it does not have Bluetooth technology or a media player. There is a WAP browser and speakerphone, but no mail client.



Motorola RIZR Z6 Smartphone Multimedia Capabilities

The Motorola ROKR Z6 (formerly RIZR Z6) is an upgrade of the original Z3 RIZR combined it is not more than one or two months. Although on the surface of the ROKR Z6 appears almost identical, it is in fact a very different underneath.

Surprisingly, the RIZR Z6 Linux is now a Motorola smartphone with new user interface on it. Another surprise is that the player is indeed Windows Media Player 11. Yes, Windows Media Player runs on Linux.

Quite why we had to wait 18 months for a GSM version of Motorola Moto Q is a mystery, but finally it’s here. For example, Motorola has the MOTO Q 8 arrived in the nick of time to make the breakthrough that Motorola needs in this market segment.

Although Motorola Moto Q 8 is equipped with the new Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system, it is strictly the model of last season. Yes, it has a good screen 320×240 pixels, but it has no 3G capabilities and is limited to GPRS and EDGE. And despite the efforts of Motorola pushing the potential of WiFi capabilities of the Moto Q, the fact is that it requires a new card SDIO.

We previewed the Motorola ROKR E2 last month, and Motorola have confirmed that the ROKR E2 will be available during the first half of 2006. However, while the ROKR E2 looks quite like the one we showed last month, the E2 is a very different underside of the camera pretty poor ROKR E1.

Motorola MOTO Z8 Smartphone Symbian 3G HSDPA

Let’s go straight to the point, the best thing about the Motorola MOTO Z8 is that it well not straight. Unlike sliders with a simple up / down mechanism, the Z8 MOTO curves inwards so that it is more ergonomic to use, a bit like a clamshell phone.

This is a fairly interesting (if you can get past the oh no not again RAZR styling). MOTO The Z8 is a smartphone Symbian 3G HSDPA (up to 3.6Mbit/sec), 90Mb of internal memory expandable to 4 GB, using microSD cards, a camera 2 megapixel primary (but autofocus) and an impressive maximum 5 hours while on 3G.

Originally announced in February, Motorola have chosen to announce the upcoming Motorola W220 again this month Communicasia event in Singapore.

The Motorola RAZR W220 is a clamshell-type phone with a display of 128×128 pixels CSTN 65000 colors, which weighs 93 grams. It has a long battery life giving up to 8 hours duration and 12 days of standby, and there is a built-in FM radio. Well that’s about it. No camera, no Bluetooth, no MP3 player. It’s only a dual-band GSM device, but it has at least GPRS and WAP browser.
