My charger is very finnicky. I do not know if there is a problem with it or if I am doing something wrong. I threw away the instructions because I did not think I would need instruction on something like this.
First off. . . I paid much less than the Amazon price for the 2-pack at Costco.
When I put in new batteries and then connect the charger cord for my Blackberry a little green light comes on(or at least 75% of the time, the green light comes on) then I plug into my phone and the phone begins to charge. I have not been able to charger for more than 5 minutes ever! It will remain plugged in but the green light turns off and the phone stops charging. Sometimes the charger gets warm but never that hot. I have changed the batteries 3-4 times and it has never helped the issue.
I feel like I either have a faulty charger. I sold the other one in the pack of 2 so I dont know if that one works. Also with a little research I found today that Duracell does not manufacture these chargers. They just put their name on them to market them.
Here is the review from USA Today. . . they give more company info.

I am not saying don’t buy. . . just saying be wary of this product. I have not had good luck with it

Pros: Still looking for one, I guess maybe that I only spent $16 on it. Wonder if Costco will take it back without the original packaging/receipt.
Cons:
Does not work at all with my iPhone 3GS (which is what I bought it for)
Battery door latching mechanism so weak I felt compelled to wrap it in electrical tape.
Apparently doesn’t work with rechargeable batteries, which is inexcusable in this day and age.
Doesn’t seem to work with my Blackberry Bold.

This review is for the 2nd gen iPod Touch:
The good:
1 It charges the Touch
The bad:
1 Will not work with rechargeable batteries.
2 Good for only one complete charge with a new set of Duracell batteries.
(Expensive running cost and not good for the environment)
3 In charge mode, both audio and video modes are locked-up. In other words,
the Touch will not work while in charge mode.
4 Green light comes on regardless if its plug in or not into the iPod.

I grabbed this as it was recommended by a friend, who noted that it was compatible with his iphone. Unfortunately, it wasn’t compatible with the latest iphone 3G S release. I would add at least another star for sure if it was compatible.

This product is advertised as working with all iPods fourth generation or up. I’m here to say that this isn’t entirely accurate. I have a Nano 4G, and the plug fits, but doesn’t leave room for the headphone jack. There’s an overlap of less than a millimeter, but I can’t get them both in without stress and possible bending. I think I’m going to try to file down the plastic a tiny bit.
This is with the default headphones, by the way, which have a pretty small jack. It might be an even greater problem with other headphones.
