The TyTN follows a now familiar pattern we have seen in other devices HTC, 240×320 pixels with a 2.8 “touch screen between folding lansdcape (large) and portrait (tall) modes. There is also a 2 megapixel camera, From 64Mb internal memory with microSD expansion and WiFi support. processor is a 400 MHz Samsung unit.HTC say that the TyTN will be available in Europe from July 2006, in black or silver.

Windows Mobile 5.0 comes with the usual array of applications to work with the Internet and Microsoft Office documents, in addition to Windows Media Player. It also supports Microsoft’s Push Email solution. The TyTN supports video calling, voice dialing and a built-in speakerphone function. Of course, you will probably want to use a Bluetooth headset rather keep 176 grams TyTN to your ear every time you want to make a call.

The HTC TyTN is a Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone with the support 3.5G and 3G, WiFi and a pull-out QWERTY keyboard.

Presumably pronounced “Titan”, the TyTN is a dead ringer for the HTC Hermes / O2 XDA Trion, insofar as this is not the Hermes, or it’s a very close relative.
