LG announced a European version of their popular Pink Korean handset - a good slider research based on a popular Korean CDMA handset which has sold 300,000 units in Korea alone since its launch last November.

The LG KG800 weighs just 83 grams and has a 176×220 pixel screen, Bluetooth, 128 MB of internal memory, a 1.3 megapixel camera and an MP3 player.

The chocolate phone takes its name from the most popular color, but another neat trick is that there are hidden switch that turns on only in certain circumstances. This gives the LG KG800 a very distinctive and sleek look when closed, which makes the KG800 certainly different from anything else on the market.

LG KG800 brought the market to intervene in the months following the announcement of the original, because the company is committed to producing original products in Europe, but they would also seeking KG800 out before someone else copies. At launch, the KG800 is available through the Carphone Warehouse / Phone House and subsiduaries in Europe, and there are rumors of a US version.

We believe that the copying concern is ironic, since the LG S5200 is one of the most derivative terminals that we have ever seen, and even devices such as the LG P7200 are rather nice clearly inspired by other devices. Nevertheless, we must admit that the LG KG800 Pink is different ceratinly cursors, and functionality expected, smooth and light looks could give him a bit of a unique selling proposition. LG claim that the Pink phone has a market share of 7% in Korea, it is no doubt that it must be very good.
