I bought the latest version, the Sportsuit Convertible iPhone 3G for my new 3G iPhone. The clear plastic screen protector does not sit flush against the screen, so it really affects touchscreen usability/responsiveness. The neoprene/pleather case slides around, and it obscures the buttons (despite outlines to show you where the buttons lie underneath) and covers the synch jack. Aesthetically, the case ugly and masks the design of the iPhone. The belt clip is uncomfortable (no swivel), not to mention dorky. The armband is perhaps the only well-conceived aspect of this case. All-in-all, this case is a failure, unless the armband trumps all else for you. I’m returning mine and looking at the Contour, Agent 18 and DLO clear cases. BTW, unless you are extremely clumsy and drop the iPhone on uneven/rocky surfaces, you probably don’t need screen protection–just get an open-faced case.

I have had two cases so far, the first one was replaced by the store that I bought it from. It is a good design and the leather will help it stay put. Each have worn out in 3 months. The product does have a lifetime warranty, but you have to have the receipt for the purchase. It will wear out, but as long as you don’t mind sending it in after 3 months, it will work great.

The product broke during my FIRST USE! I didnt use it until well after I purchased it and cannot return it. The plastic that connects the Iphone to the armband is VERY thin and not well built. Stay away from this product, it is a waste of money. . . .

    Pros:
    - Armband is convenient for working out
    - Belt clip is convenient
    - Armband feels good on my arm – fits properly, isn’t too hot, doesn’t poke anywhere, etc.
    - Case is ugly and disguises the iPhone, so it’s somewhat an anti-theft device.
    - Case offers some protection for the iPhone

    Cons:
    - Getting the phone in and out of the case is virtually impossible. Once you get it in, you’ll want to leave it in forever
    - My case has nearly disintegrated after 10 months of light use. On top of looking ugly, and no longer protecting the phone from scratches, I’m afraid my phone might fall out of it when I’m running.
    - Case is bulky and ugly.
    - Screen makes it difficult to push buttons on the side – like the letters “a” and “p” on the keyboard, when you’re typing.
    - the belt clip has to be removed to put the phone on the armband. . . making it very easy to lose.
    - You can’t access side buttons like the volume control and the ring silencer. Even though the case contains an outline for those buttons, they are not accessible. Plus, the outline doesn’t line up with the buttons on my iPhone 3G.

All in all, I would NOT recommend buying this product. I’m going to try Tuneband, by Grantwood next.
