Motorola MOTO Z8 Smartphone Symbian 3G HSDPA
Let’s go straight to the point, the best thing about the Motorola MOTO Z8 is that it well not straight. Unlike sliders with a simple up / down mechanism, the Z8 MOTO curves inwards so that it is more ergonomic to use, a bit like a clamshell phone.

This is a fairly interesting (if you can get past the oh no not again RAZR styling). MOTO The Z8 is a smartphone Symbian 3G HSDPA (up to 3.6Mbit/sec), 90Mb of internal memory expandable to 4 GB, using microSD cards, a camera 2 megapixel primary (but autofocus) and an impressive maximum 5 hours while on 3G.
There is a complete player and stereo Bluetooth. Motorola’s press service has chosen to illustrate the MOTO Z8 by multimedia capabilities slaps on a photo of Johnny Depp for any reason.
Symbian is a little more than a choice unusual for Motorola. Most of their recent smartphones, including research were promising ROKR E6 Linux devices. Although Motorola Symbian used in the past, we assumed that they had virtually abandoned the operating system.

It is difficult to be enthusiastic about the Motorola MOTO Z8’s good, because it’s really just a version of the 3G RIZR, and this is just RAZR clamshell phone. It seems that Motorola had the same difficulty in selling the aircraft, because their press release looks like it was written after too many drinks at the 3GSM Congress in Barcelona, and includes gems like “Goodbye image. Hello reality. And Enabling you to expand your musical experience wireless, the MOTORIZR lets you define your music collection free Wiring. [It] sync with your Bluetooth wireless music center. Using Bluetooth stereo accessorie, you can enjoy your favourite tunes Wireless, never missed a call . Yeah .. Wireless what we have achieved. (And it is a relief to find a press service worse than spelling and prose Mobile Gazette).
If this kind of thing is what floats your boat, then Motorola MOTO Z8 is expected to be available for some time Q3 2007.
Update: first impressions are misleading, and we must admit that the style RAZR relies heavily against this device. The Z8 has hidden depths – for example, the user interface is exceptionally smooth Symbian and it is combined with a very high quality of construction. We understand that the MOTO Z8 was developed by the team that acquired from Motorola Sendo. However, in our view, the Z8 was marred by a poor style predictable and launch marketing.
