Motorola MS600 RAZR Z Slider Phone Combination Quite Dull

Posted on January 18, 2008 in Motorola

Motorola MS600 RAZR ZAt 14.8mm thickness, the MS600 is one of the most slender sliders anywhere, but not by much. The Samsung D820 is only 0.1mm thick. There is a QVGA (240×320 pixels) 262000 color screen, a digital camera 1.3 megapixels, 128 MB of internal memory and an MP3 player.

There has been a lot of fuss about this combined in some sectors of the mobile press, but ultimately this combination is quite dull. Of all the features of the RAZR MS600 Z are widely available in GSM phones, and have been for some time. However, this device (and his brother, the MS550) show that Motorola will perhaps move the cursor in the market, currently dominated by Samsung and more recently Nokia. Will we see this handset for GSM networks? Maybe we will soon hear something.

Do not be too excited. MS600 the Motorola RAZR Z is a CDMA device, not a mobile device aimed at the Korean market. The MS600 RAZR Z is interesting though, because it is a shift from Motorola phone rare and it is quite possible that we will see a version GSM during 2006.

At 110 grams and 104×51x14.8mm overall, the MS600 R RAZR is not as clear or as compact as some sliders, and it does not seem to come with an expandable memory (although we could be wrong).
