It is a familiar device research, with a 176×220 pixel display, VGA resolution camera, Bluetooth and microSD / TransFlash expandable memory, which is certainly nothing special. Except that the i-mode phones are rare, and the SLVR L7 is at least quite competitive in this niche.
On the one hand, it’s nice to see that Motorola engineers can adapt their products according to the market, and it shows the versatility underlying some of these platforms are based on. But on the other hand, giving all variations of the same name leads to confusion and confusion.
The Motorola SLVR L7 with i-mode is another variant of the SLVR line-up which includes Apple and non-Apple devices. As you can guess from the name of telephone. This is an added SLVR with i-mode support, as well as some cosmetic differences.

Interestingly, the back of the unit is marked “E4xx i” in advertising plans, as if the phone would be called something else. There is also a version of the L6 with i-mode, basically a cut-down variant of the handset (labelled MT340i confusion).
