Nokia 6120 Clasic Mobile Phones

Posted on December 19, 2007 in Nokia

The Nokia 6120 Classic is a way phone with hidden depths of the complete antithesis of the flashy but little Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold. It is hard to believe, though nothing to look device may well be the best phone that Nokia has ever done. Hold on to that thought for a while.Nokia say that the 6120 classic is expected to be available from the end of Q2 2007.

Nokia 6120

It weighs only 89 grams, the Nokia 6120 Classic is a dual band HSDPA / UMTS (850/2100 MHz) phone with quad-band GSM / GPRS and EDGE in addition to data. There is a very large 2 240×320 pixel display 16 million colors, plus a 2 megapixel first camera (with flash) and a secondary one for video calling, microSD expandable memory (up to 2 GB), Bluetooth , a multimedia player and an FM radio. To crown it all, the Nokia 6120 Classic is also a Symbian S60 smartphones (so you can add your own applications). It’s an impressive for a device that weighs so little.

Better yet, Nokia is the 6120 classic charging about € 260 / £ 160 before taxes and subsidies, which makes it a very good value for money combined.

HSDPA support on the Nokia 6120 Classic can download speeds up to 3Mbps about, and the dual-band UMTS capabilities means it can be used in the United States and Europe. Quad-band GSM support means that you can use remote UMTS networks across the world. In general, the combination of high-speed data, multimedia, camera and screen is very impressive, and he will do everything most consumers need.

It’s worth mentioning again the weight of 89 grams Nokia 6120 classic is 10 grams lighter than the popular 6230i, a whopping 21 grams lighter than the 3G 6233 and one grams heavier than the based Nokia 5070.

There are some drawbacks. There is no Pop-Port on the bottom of the 6120 classic (if it does not fit into the standard with a car kit), talktime is only 2.4 hours in 3G and 3.1 hours on GSM (which is good enough for most people). Some people might find it a bit too bland looking.

But, as we said earlier, it is quite possible that the Nokia 6120 Classic is the best phone that Nokia had never done when one takes into account the combination of features and price. We think this is a vocation to be a top seller.
