Nokia N800 PhoneIt’s roughly the same size as its predecessor the Nokia N800 measures 75×144x13mm and weighs 206 grams. The 770 was 230 grams in its protective cover, and 185 grams without it. The N800 excelled shares the same 800×480 pixels of its predecessor .. This is a very high resolution display that puts the competition to shame. The N800 adds a webcam in addition to the improvements to the tablet and Bluetooth wireless application. One of the main weaknesses of the old 770 was a lack of internal memory, and it was noted in the N800. The N800 also accepts a wide range of memory cards, including RS-MMS, miniSD, microSD and MMCmobile units, which gives great flexibility. A nice is that the N800 includes a booth, one of the first things that were lost on the old 770.

The range of software available today and in the future for Nokia N800 demostrates clearly it is an ultra-compact computer. There is a version of the Opera Web browser, an email client, RSS news reader, media player, games and more of a range of utilities and other applications. It will also be possible to use the N800 with a GPS receiver as a satellite navigation system.

Nokia N800 too many different looks the 770 was somewhat futuristic retro, the N800 is more polished and Nokia N800contemporary. Anyway, the two tablets Internet Nokia have plenty of wow factor .. Especially when people see the quality of the display.

Nokia N800 is monitoring the Nokia 770, based on the Linux platform Maemo developed by Nokia. The N800 uses the third incarnation of Maemo, called the operating system Internet Tablet 2007 edition, which adds a few new features in the 2006 edition (which is in itself an enormous improvement over the original platform).

You may regard the Nokia N800 as version 2.0 of the Nokia Internet Tablet. The original version of the 770 has many rough edges (this is called “version 1.0″), which were largely determined by the OS 2006 (call it “version 1.1″). Perhaps the N800 will be polished enough to make it a consumer product, whereas the old 770 was truly for the fans.

Nokia N800 is now available in the United States and soon in some European markets around € 400 / $ 400.

It is important to note that the Nokia N800 is not a phone, but it will support Skype in the future. Connectivity is either by N800 of the wireless LAN adapter or via a Bluetooth phone. The 770 is not limited to Nokia phones either, so you should be able to use any Bluetooth device with the N800, including 3G, EV-DO and HSDPA phones.
