Nokia third-generation Internet tablet, the Nokia N810 adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, GPS and a new operating system with excellent 800 pixels wide touch screen display and WiFi connectivity found in the previous N800 and Nokia 770 cellphone.

As with the 770 and N800, it is important to remember that the N810 is not a phone - it connects to the Internet using either WiFi or a Bluetooth compatible mobile phone. Our experience with previous models tells us that it can be almost any type of aircraft, not just a Nokia.
This is a big aircraft - which fall to 226 grams, it weighs about the same as the original 770, or slightly more than the side or roughly comparable N800 and Nokia E90. Physically, the N810 measures 72 x 128 x 14mm and the tablet is dominated by the large 4.1 “800 x 480 pixels. If you have not seen this type of high resolution screen before, then you’ll be blown away .. Remember that most of the devices are stuck with 320 x 240 pixels and 800 pixels in most Web pages display exactly as they do on a PC.

One of the main advantages of having the big screen in a separate device for your phone is that you can have a normal size as a portable device, and you just have to take the N810 with you when you you need it.
This is a Linux device, the management of a brand new version of the OS2008 operating system Maemo. This adds a Mozilla-based Web browser, strengthening support Adobe Flash, Windows Media Player, compatibility, application Nokia Maps, VOIP SIP call of support and a new user interface. Owners of the N800 will be able to update their software to version OS2008, even though, unfortunately, the old 770 may not be updated. There are plenty of applications available for free download for Maemo platform, the N810 should have a wide range of software add-ons available.
The overall design of the N810 is a little brighter than the N800 - Call video camera is now more traditionally mounted on the front, the navigation pad rarely used, has been moved to the QWERTY keyboard and others are mounted on the side of the device so that they can be easily reached. As with N800, N810 Internet Tablet comes with a built-in stand. You do not need to use the physical keyboard as text can be entered directly on the screen of N810 with a finger or stylus.

Internal memory is 128 MB of DDR RAM 256MB + Flash. Up to 2 GB storage Flash is available for data, and the Nokia N810 supports cards up to 2 GB SD and SD cards up to 8GB. The processor is a TI OMAP 2420 operates at 400 MHz. The battery should be good for about 4 hours of Web surfing on the local network, 10 hours of playback or 14 days of standby.
Nokia is the N810 spying as a “Web 2.0″ device capable of accessing the Internet, Skype, Facebook and other popular destinations. The previous versions of Nokia Internet tablet not fight with them, so it’s certainly an improvement.
At present, Nokia gave pricing and availability US alone, the N810 will cost around $ 479 plus taxes (thus perhaps £ 250 / € 350 in Europe) and will be available from Mid-November 2007.
