At first glance, the my850v looks a bit like the popular Sony Ericsson Z610, but in fact the my850v has a much better all around specification, and it could well be a real winner for Sagem. This handset will be available exclusively on the Vodafone network - in fact, we originally spotted the Sagem my850v few weeks ago masquerading under a different name. Shiny phones are in vogue, and my850v Sagem is the latest device to gloss on the market.

My850v SAGEM is a 3G mobile phone clamshell with a 2 megapixel camera, video camera secondary calling, a 2 “240×320 pixels 262000 colours, expandable memory and microSD stereo Bluetooth. It is quite light for a 3G phone, coming to 95 grams. It’s Pretty too thin just 16mm thick.

The outside my850v is much more interesting to watch from the inside - the mirror surface hides a 96×64 pixels that can display information or caller audio track details. There are also a series of multimedia control keys hidden that illuminates when the my850v to play music. This can be seen more clearly in the table below.

Sagem my850v As might be expected, the my850v Sagem is a player that supports MP3 music format, and it can also play back AAC, AAC + and eAAC + audio files. The my850v also supports MPEG4, H.263, and H.264 video formats 3GP.

This device is intended to the lower part of the mid-range market, so there are some compromises to keep the cost low. The camera 2 megapixel autofocus missing or lightning, and 16 MB internal memory is just if a microSD card is an essential add-on. We are not sure if one is included in the sales package of my850v Sagem, but today this kind of memory card is very inexpensive. Under

all gloss, it is a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz device with 3G UMTS 2100 MHz. It also supports data GPRS and EDGE. Overall, the Sagem my850v measures 96 x 49 x 16 mm, weighs 95 grams and has approximately 2.5 hours on the length of 3G, with a maximum of 6 hours of reading and a maximum of 12 days in standby. for Sagem, it is a low-cost phone rather than pay-as-you-go (although we suspect a rejection of prepaid customers follow), and my850v should be available directly from Vodafone in the UK and perhaps other parts Starting in July 2007.
