The Samsung i550 is a Symbian S60 OS v9.2 smartphone with HSDPA high-speed data and the capability of GPS. There is a large 2.6 inch 240 x 320 pixel display on the front, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera in the back and microSD expandable memory to complement the 150MB installed internally.

Oh, and there is an aspect of this phone that we did earlier-ago BlackBerry Pearl refrains ball in place of the d-pad. The ball would have works very well on this phone and makes navigation quick and easy. There is not too much of what we could ask the smartphone perhaps only a QWERTY keyboard and touch screen. Otherwise, this thing is a definite thumbs-up for Symbian fans.

Samsung say that the SGH-i550 has a Web browser and advanced one click to access multimedia functions. There is a mail client, Web browser and RSS reader, and you can expect a very good player. There is also an FM radio, and the i550 supports a standard 3.5mm headphones.
We understand that the Samsung i550 GPS comes with a tool for mapping and navigation, even though we do not know whether shipping is included in the price or requires a subscription.
