Samsung X520For the most part, the Samsung X520 is a very basic appliance - there is a 128×160 pixel display with 65000 colors, camera VGA resolution (0.3 megapixels), but no Bluetooth, expandable memory or MP3 player (although the SGH-X520 is compatible MP3 ringtones). For on-the-move entertainment, the Samsung X520 comes with a built-in FM radio.

SGH-X520 is a device to look attractive, and it certainly looks different from most other Samsung, although we saw this “square” look with the recent Samsung E420 and E870 phones, even though it is more pronounced on Samsung X520. The SGH-X520 fat bicolor design is fairly simple, but quite striking to look at.

Specifications are certainly nothing to write home about, but it is a device pleasing to the eye as it weighs only 78 grams, it’s also very light.

This is not a phone for fans of technology, but the SGH-X520 design and simple layout, combined with the light weight and low cost (probably) price tag means that Samsung X520 might be quite popular prepaid phone / pay-as-you - Go customers, and it will most likely be available in some regions in time for Christmas.
