Sony Ericsson K850i Camera Comes with Autofocus

On paper, the Sony Ericsson K850i presents itself as a champion for the Cyber camera brand now has a 5 megapixel and has HSDPA 3.5G data + Tri UMTS support, plus a host of other goodies. However, Sony Ericsson have made compromises along the way, and perhaps the K850i suffers because of it.

First, the good things, the Sony Ericsson K850i the camera comes with autofocus, a flash, the capabilities of repetition, an Image Stabilizer and various adjustments applications in the picture. The screen is a 240×320 pixel panel 262000 colors, and the K850i has a multimedia player, radio, expandable memory (using Memory Stick cards Micro), stereo Bluetooth, a web browser, client messaging and RSS reader.
But there are a few catches. One of them is the K850 for video capture capabilities .. But it can capture video clips at 320×240 pixels at 30 frames per second, this is significantly below the 640×480 pixel capabilities of the Nokia N95. And then there’s the keyboard-Sony Ericsson have presented a very different arrangement for the K850i, but it is less congested than the K810i, it does not seem to be as easy to use and it seems a little strange.

The K850i is camped as a business phone, and a consumer-device it supports Microsoft ActiveSync to enable email and PIM functions to be synchronized with an Exchange server. Tri 3G support with HSDPA also means that the K850i can be used on virtually all WCDMA 3G network world, but oddly, it is only a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz and not a Quad Band.
Sony Ericsson K850i measuring 102 X 48 X 17 mm and weighs 118 grams. The battery life is not known at the time of printing. There are two variations of color: Blue Velvet and light green, although this staining extends roughly only insofar as the controller pad and a pipe on the side of the phone. The phone is scheduled for some time during Q4 2007. There is also a K858c option for China loses 3G support and instead substitutes EDGE data.
Really the Sony Ericsson K850i should be seen as a step in the evolution of the excellent K800 and K810i phones. It is a bit disappointing that Sony Ericsson could not arrive at a competitor for the Nokia N95 with their first 5-megapixel device, but we suspect it will not be long until they do.
