Sony Ericsson W890i Impressive Stuff

Posted on January 6, 2008 in Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson W890iSony Ericsson W890i can be considered as a replacement for the ultralight W880i. Weighing in at just 78 grams, the W890i is actually a phone with a 3.5G HSDPA 2 ” 240×320 pixel camera 3 , 2 megapixel, Memory Stick Micro expandable memory with a 2 GB card in the box, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio and of course consider the well-Walkman media player.

Surprising, Sony Ericsson has managed to fit all this in a combined, it’s just 9.9mm thick, and it is certainly one of the 3G phones the lightest on the market. So

What you expect from a power-hungry 3.5G phone compact which would really rubbish battery life, would not you? Well, Sony Ericsson are quoting duration of 4.5 hours and 13 days in the standby mode and one on the 3G frankly remarkable period of 9.5 hours and 15 days of standby on GSM. They also say that the W890i can play music for 20 hours or 3 hours to make video calls. That’s very impressive stuff.

Sony Ericsson W890i return There are some compromises if 2″ display can be a bit on the small size for some, and the 3.2 megapixel camera lacks a flash, and there was no mention of the auto. We are not too impressed by the little cramped layout of the keyboard, but all-in-sure, there are many more positive aspects to the SE W890i than negative aspects.

Sony Ericsson W890i say that will be available in Mocha Brown Sparkling Silver or colors, but also their press photos show a black espresso. The W890i is expected to be available during Q1 2008, and we know that most of the major carriers have available.
