Toshiba will launch the TS605, a 10.3mm slim phone in the European market. The Toshiba TS605 a 1.93-inch TFT LCD 26k colors, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, and a microSD (T-Flash) memory card slot. It will be available in the colours pink and green.

On the negative side, the duration of the TS605 is a little short 2.5 hours with 6 days of standby. So it does not appear that the light has been achieved, at least in part thanks to a compromise with the capacity of the battery.

This device is destined for the European market, and contrary to earlier devices Toshiba, which tended to be very high-end (like the Toshiba TS921) or very low-end (Toshiba TS10), the Toshiba TS605 is more acute market mid-range.

The TS605 functionality is not too bad - there is a 1.9 TFT 176×220 pixels 262000 colors, a digital camera 1.3 megapixels, microSD expandable memory (up to 1 GB, but there are only 5.5 Mb on board), Bluetooth, MP3 / AAC and video player, FM radio, email client and WAP browser. All of this fits into a handset weighing only 79 grams and coming in at just 10.3mm thick, which gives the Toshiba TS605 svelte a certain charm.
